MY WISH
Participating in this Usrah Budi for this semester really helps me a lot in reflecting upon myself and my surroundings. I had a severe deep long thought on how to improve myself each and everyday so that I would be a better muslimah, daughter, student and foremost, servant of Allah swt in this world and hereafter.
I know for a fact that nobody is perfect but the effort towards the improvement of ourselves so that we could be a better version compared to yesterday is what really essential and takes into account. I think there is a silver lining that Allah swt had decreed me joining this Usrah Budi. I learn to appreciate and love myself even more by sharing whatsoever that I have with others. Sharing is a part of caring and by sharing as well that I grow my inner self to have gratitude upon every blessings that I have. Everything is just temporary and Allah swt could take it whenever He wish for, "Kun Fa Ya Kun" as everything solely belongs to Allah swt.
Apart from that, I learn to strive even better and harder towards my goals, dreams and mission. The main obstacle that always avoids me of doing so is procrastination. Therefore, during our Usrah Budi session, there was a discussion on how to beat procrastination in order for us to achieve our target and how to imply it in our daily routines.
Moreover, I learn a lot to relate anything that happened to me with Allah's order and prohibition especially in what had been stated in al-Quran and as-Sunnah. I got to know new hadith that is strongly very correlated to me.
Besides that, I really hope that I could maintain and sustain (istiqomah) all these improvements and whatsoever that I gained from this Usrah Budi. Not knowing anything would be hurt yet it is even hurtful to forget it and simply not to do an effort to maintain it. After all, everything is under our own choice and option. We decide what to do with our life. Thus, I hope that my friends and I will make a good decision with our life in the future.
Last but not least, I wish that this Usrah Budi would be continuously beneficial to all of IIUM communities. As for this time being of Coronavirus outbreak, the feeling to participate in this Usrah Budi is not so authentic and genuinely full of excitement since everything is conducted online. But whatsoever it is, I do believe the earlier vision and mission for this Usrah Budi to be held, had been successfully accomplished. As an improvement in the future, this Usrah Budi could maybe add many more interactive activities involving all members' physical and mental skills.
May Allah swt continuously bestow His mahabbah, rahmah and maghfirah upon us.......
